We invite writers, creatives and hopeless romantics to join the WORKSHOP: Love Letters.
On paper it’s sometimes easier to express, what someone can't say, or is too afraid to say out loud. For example, expressions of love. Communication through text, either written or typed, is still relevant. During this workshop, the letters written by the audience will be anonymously shared with each other with a spoken word performance by Keisha Boye and Jurgera Hassel based on the theme of the evening: love.
This event is organized in conjunction to An exhibition with works of Dora García, Sharon Hayes, Emily Jacir, Mahmoud Khaled, Carlos Motta, Wu Tsang, and Akram Zaatari, and a letter from Quinn Latimer. And in collaboration with the youngsters of the work-study fellowship program started this fall.
