Adelheid Smit (NL) holds a Master in Museum Curating from the VU University Amsterdam and a Bachelor in Art History at the University of Utrecht.

Adelheid Smit was as a guest curator at Museum Hilversum. She has previously worked as a PR and Organisation manager at Mondriaanhuis Amersfoort. She was also a Producer at Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam, where she was trained as a curator during her master. She worked as a PR Marketing and Communcation Associate at Witte de With from 2014 until 2016.

She is co-author of the book “Please write!” Paul Thek and Franz Deckwitz: An Artists’ Friendship, that was published in 2015 by Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen and writes for Tubelight and Puntkomma.
