Ana Roldan (b. Mexico City, 1977) is inspired by cultural phenomena: Historical events, philosophical ideas, language, systems, reflections on aesthetics; theoretical concepts in general. Her work explores how the spectators can be stimulated in a physical way as well as in an intellectual way through the opposition or displacement of the mentioned systems.
