Chanel Vyent was born in Rotterdam (NL, 1998) with Surinamese roots. At a young age she started dancing and finished her pre-educations on Codarts. In 2019 she graduated from the Amsterdam University of the Arts where she completed her Bachelor of Dance in the Urban Contemporary/JMD department. Dancing is for her one of the many voices she connects within her to communicate and share with her surroundings.

She has worked with diverse choreographers such as Conny Janssen, Erion Kruja, Davide Belotta, Joseph Simon, Ingrid Berger Myhre, Jasper van Luijk, Heidi Vierthaler, Michel de Regt and many more.
