Danielle Vallet Kleiner (Paris, France, 1958) has been engaged in work on time and memory for about ten years. In the course of her travels she photographs and films itineraries that articulate places in the same way that our minds assimilate the traces of a story. Her films and photographs are characterized by a style of editing that conveys the progression of time, evoking places designated by the absence or, conversely, the saturation of cultural and geographical landmarks.
