Prof. Dr. Jörg Heiser is Director of the Institute for Art in Context at der University of the Arts, Berlin. He is Editor at large of art magazine frieze, London, and since 1997 he writes for German national newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung. His latest book is Doppelleben Kunst und Popmusik (Fundus/Philo Fine Arts 2016), due to come out in English as Double Lives in Art and Pop Music later this year (Sternberg Press 2017). He curated numerous exhibitions, including Romantic Conceptualism (Kunsthalle Nuremberg and Bawag Foundation Vienna, 2007, catalogue).
