Maria Chehonadskih is a philosopher, activist, and curator who lives and works in London and Moscow. She received her MA from the Russian State University for the Humanities in 2009. She is currently a PhD candidate at Kingston University, CRMEP (London), and member of the editorial board of Moscow Art Magazine. Her last exhibition Shadow of a Doubt (curated together with Ilya Budraitskis) was dedicated to the problem of conspiracy (Moscow, 2014). Her major fields of interest are Soviet Marxism, the Marxist theory of labor, and the interconnections between art, literature, and philosophy. Her texts have been published in Moscow Art Magazine, Radical Philosophy, Mediations, and Alfabeta2.
