Melissa Gordon is a British and American painter living in Brussels. Recent exhibitions include “Shits and Giggles” (ongoing) at Deweer Gallery, Belgium, “The Mechanics of Fluids”, Marianne Boesky Gallery, “This is the Gallery and the Gallery is Many Things”, Eastside Projects, Birmingham, UK, and “Routine Pleasures” at Vleeshal, Middelburg. She has exhibited at Spike Island, Bristol, WIELS Centre for Contemporary Art, Brussels, Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, Marres Centre for Contemporary Art, Maastricht, amongst others. She publishes feminist magazines such as LABOUR and PERSONA and the new series “Conversations”. She is currently writing a book on Gesture and Liquidity, which will include amongst other essays, The Embarrassment of SUCKSESS.
