Émilie Pictet lives and works in Geneva. Pictet is a soprano who studied theater and singing at the Felix-Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Hochschule in Leipzig and obtained her soloist degree summa cum laude in 2005. In 2008, Pictet joined the troop of the Basle opera as the soloist of the opera studio and performed with Carmina Burana, sang Musette in La Bohême, Blanche de la Force in Les Dialogues des Carmélites and Despina in Cosi fan tutte. In 2009, she sang the role of Micaëla in Carmen at Madrid’s Festival Escorial. In Geneva Pictet peformed at the Grand Théâtre in Lulu and in Parsifal (2009/2010).
