Nona Nahumury is guest lecturer Shared Dutch History. A daughter of activists, she is active within decolonial institutes. Together with Nyanga Weder, she took the initiative for Welke Sporen Horen We (What Traces do we Hear), a project that aims to increase awareness within the current Urban music industry. She is the founder of Speak Up, a monthly gathering of Afro-Dutch youngsters where theme’s such as colorism and cultural appropriation are discussed.
