Prabhakar Pachpute (Chandrapur, India, 1986) currently lives and works Mumbai. He graduated in Fine Arts from IKSVV Khairagarh University, Chhattisgarh, 2009 in sculpture and earned a post graduate degree from MSU Baroda, 2011. Pachpute works across sculpture and drawing, bringing these elements together in stop-animation films. His artworks often express the recollected stories from the coal mines of his native Chandrapur, and his observation of the relations that exist between the miners in the style of invented proverbs.
