Shraddha Borawake (b.1983) is a trans-disciplinary artist from Pune, India. With a BA in Interdisciplinary Photographic Studies from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University (2012) and a MFA from the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam (2018). She was a recipient of the India Habitat Centre Photosphere Award (2016). Shraddha is currently completing a long term project the Good Artists of Pune - a conceptual-social platform that engaged with many local and international institutions such as Khoj International Artists’ Association supported by The Norwegian Embassy, Bamboo Curtain Studio and the Ministry of Culture Taiwan, 32 Degrees East Ugandan Arts Trust, Goethe Institute, Polish-Indian Institute, Diaspora Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator, Miami-Dade County, Nanded City, Kinetic India, Camlin Kokuyo, Reliance AIMS & Weikfield Foods Pvt. Ltd to name a few. She is currently based in the Netherlands exploring her art and autonomy through interventions in collaboration with various educational institutions as her locally engaged practice in Rotterdam.
