Geboren 1982 te Lucerne, Zwitserland. Woont en werkt in Zürich.

Een aantal solotentoonstellingen: the blue, the red, the yellow, the white, the brown and the green, A. C. KUPPER_MODERN, Zurich; Snappy / UFO romantics / Slave to love, van Horbourg, Basel (bijde 2011). Een aantal groepstentoonstellingen: Picture Ballot! Metamorphosis… Today!, Kunsthaus Zürich (2010); The Show with No Name, Galerie Jette Rudolph, Berlijn (2010); The forever ending Story #003, »The Forgotten Bar«, Berlijn (2009). Spichtig is medeoprichter van het curatorencollectief SALTS. Hij ontving zijn BFA van het Zürcher Hochschule der Künste en was artist in residence bij het Banff Centre in Banff, Canada.
