François Curlet (b. 1967, France) is a conceptual artist who works in Paris, Brussels and Piacé. His work often applies readymade objects or language in a surprising and perplexing manner with a twist of poetics, humor and absurdity. His solo exhibitions include Fugu, Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2013); Vintage Discounter, Galerie Micheline Swajcer, Anvers (2012); Smart Ass Suisse, Darse, Genève (2011); and Chanter l’enfer, établissement d’en face projects, Brussels (2010). He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, such as The Enormous Speed of Change, Call of the Mall, Hoog Catharijne, Utrecht (2013); The Flesh, Lage Egal, Berlin (2012); and Erre.
