Wineke Gartz, (Eindhoven, NL, 1968) is an installation artist based in Amsterdam. With subjects relating to psychology, beauty, death, illusion and perception, nature versus urban life, art and mass media; Gartz’s site-specific installations consist of complex overlays of imagery and media, often with the use of music and multiple video and slide projections, and with the integral use of architectural space.
